Good tools last longer with good care.
Simple maintenance guidance for grooming tools, walking gear, bowls and soft pet essentials.
Clean after use. Inspect regularly. Replace worn components before they become a safety issue.
Care that fits the product.
Always follow the care label or product-specific instructions supplied with your item where these differ from the general guidance below.
Brushes & deshedding tools
Remove trapped hair after use, keep moving parts free of debris and store the tool dry. Do not continue using damaged teeth, pins or handles.
Leads, collars & harnesses
Inspect clips, buckles, stitching and adjustment points regularly. Rinse off salt, sand and dirt after beach or wet-weather use and allow the item to dry fully.
Bowls & food-contact items
Wash food-contact surfaces frequently using a cleaning method suitable for the material. Replace deeply scratched, cracked or difficult-to-clean items.
Beds & soft furnishings
Remove loose hair regularly and wash removable covers in line with the care label. Ensure covers and filling are fully dry before reuse.
Inspect before your pet uses it.
